From The Dallas Arboretum
The Dallas
Arboretum is one of the top horticultural gardens in the
country. It displays beautiful gardens of flowers throughout the
entire year.
Margaret
Elizabeth Jonsson Color Garden
This garden
is on a full 6-1/2 acres and includes over 2000 varieties of
azaleas. Designed by Dallas landscape architect Naud Burnett.
Eugenia
Leftwich Palmer Fern Dell
A one acre
mini garden within the Jonsson Color Garden. This garden was
also designed by Naud Burnett.
A Woman's
Garden
Designed by
Morgan Wheelock. One of the most formal gardens at the
Arboretum.
Lyda Hunt
Paseo de Flores
Designed by
Luis Santana. This is the central walkway of the Arboretum and
includes many types of seasonal plantings.
Other
Gardens here include Crape Myrtle Allee, Toad Corners Fountain,
and the Historic DeGoyler Gardens.
