1/2 cup tomato juice
2 cups water
1 beef bouillon cube
3 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup onion flakes
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
garlic salt and black pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients. Cook until cabbage is
tender.
A friend gave this recipe to me years ago. I use
this recipe for a base for vegetable or beef
vegetable soup. Add flour to the broth and it
becomes a stew. The main recipe is great to serve,
when a person is watching their weight. Enjoy!
